This amazing place  is found within the great  northern rift valley of Tanzania and was first discovered by Dr.Louis & Mary Leaky  (1950's). This site is 14.481 km long & 350 feet deep which includes almost 2 millions  years of occupation.
The stone-hut structure is one of the  local evidence which dated in approximately 1.8 millions years ago. The fossil hominids discovered at the Olduvai gorge were Australopithecus boisei, Homo hamobillis and Homo erect us with the stone tools of Acheulean & Old man.
Tanzania is regarded as the cradle of human kind because of the presence of Olduvai gorge and many other sites such as Amboni caves and kondoa rock paintings.                           Welcome Tanzania to understand the evolution of                                 man kind....                                                           Posted by yuve

                                   Ngorongoro  Crater 
Tanzania is one of the East Africa countries with lots of wonders and adventures. It is enriched with different animal species found in different national parks which include one of the world's distinctive Caldera known as "Ngorongoro crater".

Historically, Ngorongoro crater was emerged between two up to three million years ago as a result of a giant volcanic collapsed eruptions. It covers  an area of 260km2 with a depth of  610m (2000ft). this crater is being protected by the Ngorongoro  conservation with the aim of protecting and conserving this crater from being demolished by human activities.

This crater serves most of wonders of the world as it has been considered to be the origin of human kind after the discovery of the earliest known specimens of the human genus "Homo habilis" therefore, become a source of  human evolution understanding. In addition because of the volcanic Ash it formed sediments which revealing seven layers in the walls of the gorge.

The crater serves a lot as it accommodate varieties of different species of animals, snakes, birds and pastoralists i.e Maasai.  

Due to all qualities of the Ngorongoro Crater UNESCO declaring it as the most world heritage  as the result of it is potential and reputations across the globe.
